Where can I use Bubbles?

The prototype has iOS, Android and web experiences. The native projects support iOS 15+ and Android 7.0+. Guided capture also requires a compatible ARKit or ARCore device. On the web, you can import and explore finished panoramas.

Do I need a VR headset?

No. You can explore a memory by touch on your phone. For optional VR, the native app works with a compatible phone and Cardboard viewer. It lets you look around a 360° panorama using head rotation; it does not recreate 3D depth or let you walk around the scene.

What makes my family space private?

Accounts and family membership control access to shared memories. Face matching and personal scrapbook details stay on your device. Bubbles is an actively developed private prototype; it has not completed an independent security audit.

Can I download Bubbles today?

Bubbles is currently a private prototype, with no public App Store or Google Play release. You can explore the sample memory on this page and see the current implementation in the project repository.
